Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Gather and understand business requirements and translate them into BI solutions.
- Build data models, relationships, and calculations using DAX.
- Create and optimize Power Query (M) scripts for data transformation.
- Connect Power BI to multiple data sources such as SQL Server, Excel, Azure, APIs, and cloud platforms.
- Optimize report performance and ensure scalability.
- Implement row-level security (RLS) and data governance best practices.
- Publish reports to Power BI Service and manage workspaces, datasets, and refresh schedules.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation and provide end-user support.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI.
- Proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M Language).
- Solid understanding of data modeling and star/snowflake schemas.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with Excel, including Power Pivot and Power Query.
- Understanding of ETL and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with Azure services (Azure SQL, Data Factory, Synapse).
- Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.
- Familiarity with SSAS, SSRS, or SSIS.
- Power BI certification (PL-300) is a plus.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- 8 years of experience in Business Intelligence or Power BI development.
