Description
We are looking for a Power BI Data Programmer Analyst to join a data-focused team in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will transform complex data into clear reporting, actionable analysis, and predictive insights that support smarter business decisions. The position combines hands-on dashboard development, statistical analysis, and model refinement to improve reporting accuracy and portfolio performance.
Responsibilities:
Build and deliver Microsoft Power BI solutions that support reporting needs across multiple business areas.
Develop, maintain, and optimize reporting environments and data connections for both local and cloud-based platforms.
Write and refine advanced queries, functions, and data transformation logic to support analysis and reporting.
Perform exploratory analysis and statistical modeling to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within large datasets.
Create effective visual dashboards and reports that clearly communicate findings to business stakeholders.
Enhance existing scoring methodologies and develop predictive models that improve account classification and payment behavior forecasting.
Produce pricing and portfolio analysis models, including liquidation curves, to strengthen purchasing strategy and decision-making.
Monitor data quality, troubleshoot reporting issues, and maintain documentation to support reliable ongoing operations.
Partner with IT and cross-functional teams to design, test, and implement analytics tools and scalable data solutions.
Requirements
Experience building reports and dashboards in Power BI for business users and decision-makers.
Strong knowledge of T-SQL, query development, and data transformation techniques.
Hands-on ability to analyze structured and unstructured data to uncover meaningful patterns and insights.
Understanding of statistics, probability, and modeling methods used in analytical problem-solving.
Familiarity with machine learning concepts or prior experience contributing to machine learning projects.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including functions such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Power Query.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage work independently and maintain data accuracy.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present analytical findings in a business-friendly format.
