Power BI Data Engineer that is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust data flows to deliver accurate, timely, and accessible analytics and reporting solutions. This position requires expertise in Power BI, SQL, and related technologies, with a strong focus on building scalable and complex data models to support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain efficient data flows using Power BI to ensure seamless integration and processing of data from various sources.
Implement strategies to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across all reporting systems.
Build and optimize Power BI models, including complex, large-scale models to support analytics and reporting needs.
Write complex DAX formulas to create calculated columns, measures, and custom visualizations.
Optimize DAX queries for performance and efficiency in large datasets.
Create advanced transformations in Power Query to clean, manipulate, and prepare data for analysis.
Write, optimize, and troubleshoot advanced SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
Ensure optimal performance of Power BI models and reports, including addressing performance bottlenecks and scalability strategies.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Power BI Data Engineer or similar role.
Expert-level proficiency in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and data modeling.
Expert-level SQL Scripting Skills With Experience Handling Large Datasets.
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus.
