Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support new Power BI and Microsoft Fabric implementations.
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Make enhancements and updates to production reports and BI solutions.
- Troubleshoot reporting challenges and provide effective solutions based on experience and best practices.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into impactful and user-friendly BI experiences.
- Understand and contribute to the target-state BI architecture and deliver components incrementally.
- Manage data access, connections, security models, and report governance.
- Guide, mentor, and upskill existing BI developers and validate deliverables.
- Establish and implement best practices for Microsoft Fabric and Power BI deployments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful BI solution delivery.
- 8–10 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Power BI development.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Microsoft Power BI (Desktop and Service)
- Microsoft Fabric (Mandatory)
- DAX and Power Query (M)
- Data Modeling Concepts
- Data Warehousing (Fact/Dimension Models, Star Schema)
- ETL/ELT Processes
- APIs and Data Integration Tools
- Experience with Azure, Microsoft Fabric, or other cloud data platforms (preferred).
- Strong understanding of data security, access controls, and report governance.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders and translate requirements into BI solutions.
- Proven ability to lead teams, mentor developers, and oversee project delivery.
- Experience designing enterprise-scale BI architectures.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and Power BI implementation best practices.
- Ability to guide organizations through BI modernization and reporting transformation initiatives.
