Kforce has a client in Dania Beach, FL that is seeking a Power BI Administrator.
Responsibilities:
- Power BI: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models following industry best practices
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Power BI dashboard development, ETL processes, data modeling
- Platform Management: Administer and oversee the Power BI platform, managing user access, security settings, and integrations with other systems
- Data Gateway Installation: Install, configure, and manage onpremises data gateways to ensure secure data transfer
- Managed Virtual Networks (VNets): Implement and manage VNets for Power BI to optimize connectivity and enhance security
- System Maintenance: Conduct regular reboots, updates, and maintenance to ensure the Power BI environment remains reliable
- Fabric Experience: Utilize Microsoft Fabric capabilities, including managing data flows, pipelines, and workspace collaboration to streamline analytics processes
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to organizational policies, data governance, and regulatory standards
- Ideally around 8 years of relevant expertise in data platform engineering, business intelligence, and data visualization
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst, Fabric certifications, or other analytics certifications
- Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in Power BI administration, Fabric tools, and development
- Mandatory Power BI Development: Handson experience in Power BI report/dashboard creation, DAX calculations, and data modeling
- Experience: Several years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or IT system administration
- Best Practices Knowledge: Deep understanding of Power BI best practices for security, performance, and governance
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams effectively
