Position: PLC Controls Engineer

Location: Milpitas, CA 100% onsite (can be non-local who can relocate to California)

Duration: 12 month contract

  • Domain: High end robotics, automation systems
  • Interview: 1-2 video conference interview

Core Responsibilities

  • Electrical design focused primarily on:
  • Control systems
  • Some power distribution

Work includes:

  • System interlocking
  • Laser chiller control
  • PLC-driven automation systems
  • Hands-on involvement in lab / cleanroom

Top Required Skills (Non-Negotiable)

  • PLC programming expertise (must-have)
  • Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron (any accepted)
  • Strong electrical design background
  • Experience & Education
  • 5 years of experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred
  • PhD candidates acceptable with ~2 3 years experience

Additional Notes

  • Candidates experienced in one PLC system can adapt to others

Role is heavily focused on controls automation
