Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced PL/SQL Developer to design, develop, and maintain Oracle database applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong PL/SQL programming skills, performance tuning expertise, and experience working with large datasets in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, and triggers.
• Collaborate with application developers and business analysts to understand data requirements.
• Write efficient SQL queries for ETL (data extraction, transformation, and loading).
• Perform database performance tuning and troubleshoot related issues.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and adherence to best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and support database design decisions.
• Document technical specifications and maintain system documentation.
• Support production systems and resolve issues promptly.
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 7 years of PL/SQL experience (8 10 years overall IT experience).
• Proficiency in Oracle Database and PL/SQL programming.
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts and data modeling.
• Experience using Oracle SQL Developer, TOAD, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux shell scripting and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of database optimization and performance tuning.
• Exposure to data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with other programming languages (Java, Python) is a plus.
