Job Summary
The Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Associate is responsible for supporting the production of pharmaceutical products in a regulated manufacturing environment. This role ensures that all processes are performed in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), safety guidelines, and company procedures to
produce high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment used in the production of pharmaceutical products
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and batch records accurately
- Perform weighing, dispensing, mixing, granulation, and packaging activities
- Document all manufacturing activities in accordance with cGMP requirements
- Clean and maintain production equipment and work areas
- Identify and report deviations, equipment malfunctions, or quality issues
- Assist in troubleshooting production problems and implementing corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with quality assurance and quality control teams
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field preferred
- Previous experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or food manufacturing is a plus
- Basic understanding of cGMP and regulatory requirements
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate documentation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and production processes
- Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry
- Ability to work utilizing a microscope
- Ability to read and interpret SOPs, batch records, and technical documents
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including gowns, gloves, and masks
- Ability to work in controlled environments (cleanrooms, temperature-controlled areas)
- Pharmaceutical manufacturing facility with cleanroom settings
- Strong problem-solving skills
