The Inspector will perform electronic and manual documentation of inspections, audits, and pole transfers, and will communicate regularly via phone, email, and reports. This role also involves occasional team leadership and coordination with vendor and client management.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field inspections of aerial, buried, and underground OSP construction to verify compliance with NESC and company standards
- Document all inspections, audits, and corrections electronically using standard field tools
- Identify and report construction deficiencies or safety violations; verify correction completion
- Manage or assist in managing teams of field inspectors and coordinate workflow to meet project timelines
- Communicate with contractors, vendors, and project managers on construction quality, schedules, and deliverables
- Perform field audits, redlining, and as-built verification using Trimble, 3GIS, and KMZ file mapping
- Maintain accurate daily and weekly reports on inspection results and project progress
- Ensure adherence to safety policies and applicable federal, state, and local regulations
- Prior experience performing NESC inspections or working on aerial cable line crews
- Experience conducting wooden pole ground line inspections and OSP quality control
- Proficient in OSP Construction Standards and National Electric Safety Code (NESC)
- Strong computer proficiency: Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Windows-based mapping tools (MapPoint or equivalent)
- Hands-on experience with Trimble, 3GIS, and KMZ mapping tools for field verification
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
- Previous contractor management or team lead experience preferred
- Must possess a valid driver s license and reliable personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed)
- Ability to travel within regional project areas on short notice
