Oracle SaaS Cloud Consultant (R2R Techno-Functional Solution Architect)

Location: Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid)

Job Summary

We are seeking a senior-level Oracle SaaS Cloud R2R Techno-Functional Solution Architect with strong hands-on experience. The consultant will be responsible for designing solutions, managing configurations, handling extensions, and overseeing data migration within the client’s Oracle SaaS & PaaS ecosystem.

This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) solutions, including General Ledger (GL) and Intercompany processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements and design end-to-end Oracle R2R solutions
• Work extensively with:
• Oracle General Ledger (GL)
• Intercompany processes
• Oracle Fusion Accounting Hub (FAH)
• Collaborate with technical teams to build RICE (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions) components
• Provide guidance on Oracle Fusion technical architecture and table structures
• Develop and maintain OTBI reports within the R2R domain
• Configure Oracle SaaS applications and design PaaS solutions
• Prepare:
• Functional specification documents
• Design documents
• Test scripts
• Support data migration from source systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues
• Work closely with business users and IT teams to resolve defects
• Coordinate across multiple stakeholder groups
• (Preferred) Utilize Oracle Agent Studio
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 14–16 years of total experience
• 6–8 years in Oracle SaaS Cloud as a techno-functional consultant (GL & Intercompany)
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Accounting Hub (FAH):
• Designing event models beyond pass-through configurations
• Creating complex SLA (Subledger Accounting) rules and mappings
• Deep understanding of:
• Foreign Currency Translation
• Revaluation processes in Oracle Cloud
• Expertise in:
• Essbase reporting and Smart View
• Complex allocation rules (including intercompany allocations)
• Experience with:
• Cross-Validation Rules (CVRs)
• Chart of Accounts (COA) governance
• End-to-end knowledge of Intercompany processing (AP & AR flows)
• Prior experience (5–7 years) with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Finance modules
• Strong experience integrating Oracle SaaS GL with third-party systems
• Ability to:
• Map business requirements to Oracle Fusion capabilities
• Perform gap analysis and design end-to-end solutions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Oracle SaaS Cloud Certification in R2R (mandatory)
