Job Summary

We are seeking a senior-level Oracle ERP DBA to support a critical accounting system built on Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS R12) and multiple Oracle APEX applications.

This role involves database administration, patching, upgrades, deployments, and production support across Oracle environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and support Oracle Database 19c environments
  • Manage Oracle EBS R12 (GL, AP, AR) systems
  • Support Oracle APEX (v21 & v24) applications and workflows
  • Perform database patching, upgrades, and maintenance
  • Deploy changes and manage releases for APEX applications
  • Troubleshoot database and application issues
  • Work with Linux and Windows environments
  • Manage Oracle job scheduler and service requests
  • Write scripts for data loads and automation
  • Participate in Agile/Waterfall SDLC processes
  • Create and maintain technical documentation

Required Skills

  • 5 years of Oracle Database Administration (19c)
  • 5 years of Oracle EBS R12 experience
  • 5 years of Oracle APEX (v21/v24) with workflow
  • Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills
  • Experience with database patching, upgrades, and maintenance
  • Experience with Linux and Windows OS
  • Strong understanding of RDBMS concepts and best practices
  • Experience with Oracle job scheduler
  • Strong communication and documentation skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience deploying APEX applications
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud (OCI) migration from on-prem (PCA)
  • Experience with Unified Auditing
  • Healthcare domain experience

Additional Requirements

  • Must be located within 2 hours driving distance of Richmond, VA
  • Must be available for occasional onsite meetings
  • No sponsorship available
