Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Oracle database applications.
- Write efficient PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and complex queries.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability.
- Perform database design, data modeling, and schema creation.
- Work closely with Business Analysts and application developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Conduct performance tuning and query optimization.
- Implement database security, backup, and recovery procedures.
- Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide timely resolution.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices are followed.
- Support data migration, integration, and ETL processes.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and reliability across systems.
- 3-8 years of experience as an Oracle Developer.
- Strong expertise in:
- Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c or later)
- PL/SQL programming
- Advanced SQL queries
- Experience with:
- Stored procedures, triggers, packages
- Performance tuning and indexing strategies
- Data modeling concepts
- Query optimization techniques
- Knowledge of database backup, recovery, and security best practices.
- Familiarity with SDLC methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Experience with Oracle Forms and Reports.
- Knowledge of Oracle APEX.
- Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, ODI, etc.).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure).
- Experience in ERP/Finance/Banking domain.
- Oracle Certification (OCA/OCP).
