Duration: 30 Months

Location: Albany, NY (2-3 days remote every week)

Job Description:

Oracle Database Administration 2019 Certified Professional -or- OCP certification in version 12c or higher.

NOTE: Oracle AI Database Administration Certified Professional does not count for this qualification.

84 months of experience installing, configuring, patching, upgrading, and maintaining Oracle database 12c or higher in a Unix-like environment (e.g. AIX, Linux, etc.). Experience must be specifically with multitenant RAC databases configured with DataGaurd.

NOTE: Engineered systems and cloud environments do not count for this qualification.

84 months of experience troubleshooting Oracle 12c or higher critical issues such as server and database crashes, failed disks, etc. Experience must include working with Oracle Support Services.

36 months of experience installing, configuring, patching, upgrading, and maintaining Oracle Database Appliance. Experience must be specifically with High Availability (HA) models configured with version 12c or higher RAC databases.

84 months of experience troubleshooting Oracle 12c or higher database performance and other related issues; specifically, by working with other teams to identify if the issue is at the storage, network, database, or application tier.

84 months of experience using Data Pump Export/Import -and- RMAN for backup and recovery of Oracle 12c or higher databases. Experience must include using RMAN for recovery.

84 months of experience installing, configuring, patching, upgrading, and maintaining Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 13c or higher in a Unix-like environment (e.g. AIX, Linux, etc.).

84 months of experience utilizing Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) to proactively detect issues making use of advanced features such as metric extensions, monitoring templates, etc.

36 months of experience installing, configuring, patching, upgrading, and maintaining APEX (database tier) on version 12c or higher databases.

Bachelor s degree in computer science or a related field.

84 months of experience documenting processes, inclusive of creation of system architecture diagrams, etc.

36 months of experience maintaining server hardware (racking and stacking, cabling, component replacement, etc.).
