- Own end-to-end delivery of Oracle Cerner AMS services for large healthcare provider engagements.
- Ensure compliance with SLAs, KPIs, CSAT, and governance commitments.
- Drive incident, problem, change, and service request management aligned with ITIL best practices.
- Oversee P1/P2 incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventive measures.
- Manage hypercare, steady-state operations, and service transitions for new facilities or applications.
- Act as the primary point of accountability for client delivery and engagement success.
- Lead operational reviews, governance meetings, and executive steering committee discussions.
- Build strong relationships with healthcare stakeholders including CIO, CMIO, and clinical and IT leaders.
- Coordinate with Oracle, third-party vendors, and cross-functional internal teams.
- Lead and mentor onshore and offshore Cerner delivery teams (L2/L3).
- Drive workforce planning, skill development, succession planning, and team retention.
- Promote clinical domain awareness across teams to ensure patient safety and care delivery impact.
- Own financial performance including budget, cost optimization, revenue assurance, and margin management.
- Track FTE utilization, productivity, and billing accuracy.
- Support contract renewals, change requests, and scope expansion initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for automation, tooling improvements, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, PHI, SOX, and healthcare regulatory standards.
- Manage audit readiness, security incidents, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to ITSM processes, governance frameworks, and data protection standards.
- Strong experience in healthcare IT delivery leadership, particularly in Oracle Cerner environments.
- Proven experience managing large, complex Cerner AMS or managed services engagements.
- Deep understanding of Oracle Cerner architecture, modules, and operations.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL-based service management practices.
- Experience in incident management, service delivery, and operational governance.
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Strong financial management skills including P&L, cost optimization, and budgeting.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and vendor ecosystems.
- Experience in AMS/Managed Services delivery models.
- Experience supporting multi-hospital or multi-facility healthcare environments.
- Exposure to large healthcare ecosystems such as Oracle, USPI, Tenet, or payer/provider organizations.
- Clinical modules: Millennium, PowerChart, CPOE, Nursing, ED, Surgery, Anesthesia.
- Revenue Cycle: Patient Accounting, Registration, Charge Services, HIM.
- Ancillary systems: Pharmacy, Lab (PathNet), Radiology, PACS.
- Integration & Reporting: HL7/FSI interfaces, CareAware, HealtheIntent, reporting tools.
