Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced OpenText Exstream Architect to lead the design and architecture of enterprise Customer Communications Management (CCM) solutions. The ideal candidate will define technical strategy, oversee high-volume document generation systems, and ensure scalable, secure, and optimized Exstream implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead architecture and solution design using OpenText Exstream.
- Define enterprise CCM architecture, best practices, and governance standards.
- Design scalable, high-volume batch and real-time document generation solutions.
- Architect integrations with upstream/downstream systems (CRM, ERP, Data Warehouses, payment systems).
- Design data mapping strategies using XML, JSON, flat files, and relational databases.
- Optimize performance, throughput, and document rendering efficiency.
- Define template design standards and reusable component strategies.
- Guide and mentor Exstream developers; conduct design and code reviews.
- Lead migration or modernization initiatives (on-prem to cloud, platform upgrades).
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and branding standards.
- Provide production support oversight and performance troubleshooting.
- 8 years of IT experience with 5 years in OpenText Exstream.
- Strong expertise in:
- Exstream Designer & Runtime Engine
- Complex template architecture
- Data modeling & transformation
- Output formats (PDF, AFP, PostScript)
- Experience designing enterprise-scale CCM solutions.
- Strong knowledge of performance tuning and batch processing optimization.
- Experience with system integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware).
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder communication skills.
