Key Responsibilities
Project & Program Management
- Lead end-to-end delivery of financial systems and transformation projects from initiation through deployment and post-implementation support.
- Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocation strategies, and risk mitigation plans.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects while ensuring adherence to scope, quality, timelines, and budget.
- Establish project governance frameworks, status reporting, and executive-level communication.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Finance, IT, Operations, Procurement, Compliance, and external vendors.
- Drive modernization and optimization of financial systems, processes, and reporting capabilities.
- Support ERP implementations, upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
- Partner with finance leadership to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and digital transformation.
- Ensure successful implementation of financial controls, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
- Facilitate business process mapping, requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and deployment activities.
- Manage relationships with software vendors, implementation partners, consultants, and service providers.
- Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiations, performance reviews, and SLA compliance.
- Monitor vendor deliverables, project milestones, budgets, and contractual obligations.
- Resolve escalations and ensure accountability for project outcomes.
- Conduct periodic vendor performance assessments and risk evaluations.
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, finance teams, technology teams, and external partners.
- Translate business requirements into technical project deliverables.
- Facilitate steering committee meetings and executive updates.
- Drive change management, user adoption, and training initiatives.
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and issues and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, corporate policies, security standards, and audit requirements.
- Maintain project documentation, governance artifacts, and implementation records.
- Support internal and external audits related to financial systems and projects.
