We're seeking a hands-on, tech-savvy Telecom Field Operations Technician to support and expand enterprise-level voice, data, and transport networks. What You'll Do
- Install, maintain, and repair fiber optic and IP network infrastructure (aerial & buried).
- Perform emergency fiber repairs, splicing, and outside plant (OSP) work using fusion splicers.
- Configure routers and servers across a large-scale enterprise network.
- Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to deliver seamless telecom solutions.
- Support high-impact projects and ensure network reliability across voice, data, and wireless systems.
- 2-year degree in electronics/telecom or 5 years of hands-on experience.
- Expertise in IP networking, fiber optic repair, and fiber installations.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across telecom systems; SCADA and Site Tracker experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly.
- Willingness to travel locally (~50 miles/day), climb, lift, and support 24/7 on-call operations.
