Teksystems has aclient is looking for a Network Technician based in Columbia, SC. The role is a 6 month contract to hire and will be 100% on-site.
The key skills in this role include experience with Cisco gear, wireless and wired configuration, WAN connections, switching, routing, and dynamic routing protocols. This positions is a day to day operational role where they are taking tickets, once progressed through the role, they could be tasked with projects.
They need someone that has the ability to perform manual command lines and also has handled issues Layer 1 up to Layer3. This is a true networking role.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
This person should be a self-starter and problem solve. They must be willing to help when needed and come up with solutions. SolarWinds experience would be a plus.
