Our client, a leader in their industry, has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join on a direct hire basis for a client in Cary, NC. This hybrid position requires onsite work three days per week (Tuesday - Thursday) and offers an excellent opportunity to gain cloud security posture management experience.

Salary: $115,000 - $135,000 plus 10% bonus
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage enterprise-grade firewall solutions, including next-gen firewalls to enforce network security policies.
Deploy security tools in cloud environments, such as CASB, WAFs, and native cloud security services.
Deploy SASE solutions integrating security capabilities for distributed networks.
Implement centralized identity and access management systems following least privilege principles. Utilize Microsoft Security Suite tools for threat detection and response across environments.
Experience Requirements:
5 years of experience in network security engineering with in-depth experience with Palo Alto
Hands-on experience with Zscaler
Cloud-first mindset-on-prem-only experience is a disqualifier.
Passion for Security and willingness to make suggestions and recommendations
Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
Azure Network and cloud security posture management experience.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree Or Equivalent Work Experience Required.
