We are looking for an experienced Network Operations Manager to join a dynamic team in Omaha, Nebraska. In this Contract to permanent position, you will oversee the design, configuration, and management of a robust network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and operational efficiency. Responsibilities:
Oversee the design and implementation of complex network architectures, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Configure and maintain routers, switches, and wireless systems to support organizational needs.
Manage Active Directory systems and ensure secure access and authentication protocols.
Implement and monitor firewalls, including Palo Alto, to safeguard network security.
Lead the configuration and troubleshooting of wireless solutions, such as Aruba Wireless.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address infrastructure needs.
Develop and enforce network policies and procedures to maintain compliance and security.
Analyze system performance and execute improvements to optimize efficiency.
Provide leadership and guidance to the network team, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.
Stay updated on emerging technologies to drive innovation within the network environment.
Requirements
Minimum of 7 years of experience in network management, design, and architecture.
Proficiency in configuring routers, switches, and wireless systems, including Juniper and Aruba Wireless.
Strong knowledge of Active Directory and network security protocols.
Expertise in firewall management, particularly Palo Alto.
Demonstrated experience in infrastructure and network configuration.
Leadership abilities to manage and mentor a technical team effectively.
Familiarity with non-profit sector operations is a plus.
Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and implement solutions promptly.
