Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain LAN, WAN, wireless, and industrial networks
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventive measures
- Implement and manage security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintain documentation of network architecture, changes, and configurations
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members
- Participate in technology project planning, budgeting, and disaster recovery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless network operations
- Network Engineer: Associate degree in Computer Science or related field; 3-5 years of network administration experience, and relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, Network )
- Senior Network Engineer: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field; 8 years of network experience, technical leadership experience, and advanced certifications (e.g., CCNP, CISSP)
- Network Engineer: 1 relevant certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Senior Network Engineer: 3 relevant certifications (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Valid driver's license with safe driving record
- Experience with industrial networking protocols and critical infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with Cisco or Juniper hardware, VPNs, firewalls, and monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark)
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, VOIP, and network security best practices
- Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills
- Hybrid schedule with at least three days onsite per week
- Occasional field visits to network and operational facilities
- On-call rotation for network or cybersecurity incidents
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs, climb ladders, and work in indoor/outdoor environments
