Title: Network Engineer (Data Center)
Duration: 12 months
Location: Abilene, TX (onsite)
This is a 24/7/365 position on-site in Abilene, Texas, and includes day/night shift, weekend and holiday work with occasional travel based on business requirements.
Be able to work on a shift schedule that rotates ( 8 to 12-hour shifts), including weekends and holidays.
Note: Candidates need to be able to demonstrate knowledge of fundamental networking concepts such as TRUNK, VLANs, OSPF, or BGP, which are essential for the role.
Experience with physically installing network racks, mounting servers in the racks, connecting all Ethernet and power cords and neatly routing / tying cables to the rack per the schematics and plans provided.
6 plus Years Experience
Install, Remove, and Troubleshoot network hardware in data centers racks without disturbing other hardware and critical infrastructure.
Maintain asset inventory and update internal application as needed.
Data center networking knowledge.
Experience in Data Center Infrastructure projects.
5 year experience in Structured Cabling Copper/Fiber and testing of cables.
