Customer is seeking an experienced Network Architect to support a key customer engagement. This role requires deep expertise in enterprise networking, including design, implementation, and troubleshooting across LAN/WAN and SD-WAN environments. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable network operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot LAN and WAN service issues across Cisco, Meraki, and Fortinet platforms
- Configure switching platforms including Cisco 3750X, 9200, 9300, Nexus, and FortiSwitch
- Configure routing platforms including Cisco ASR/ISR, FortiGate, and Meraki
- Install and deploy network hardware
- Activate and manage leased WAN circuits
- Participate in daily stand-ups and project meetings
- Create and maintain network documentation
- Develop and review change scripts
- Collaborate with security teams to mitigate active threats
- Associate’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent technical training
- Active CCIE certification (or scheduled exam required)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Information Systems (healthcare industry preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of true network architecture experience
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on Cisco networking experience
- Minimum 3 years of SD-WAN experience
- Strong experience with LAN technologies:
- STP, EtherChannel/Port Channel
- 802.1Q Trunking, VTP
- 802.1X, DHCP, DACLs
- WAN technologies:
- VRFs, routing protocols, IP ACLs
- Leased circuits
- AAA and TACACS troubleshooting
- IP addressing and network design
- Wireless troubleshooting (802.11)
- SNMP monitoring and logging configuration
- Client and network issue resolution
