Job Title: Network Administrator

Location: Tulsa , Oklahoma

Type: Contract To Hire

Compensation: $31.25 - $38.46 hourly

Contractor Work Model: Onsite

Hours: Monday- Friday (8-5pm) with some evenings and weekends as needed

System One is looking for an experienced Network Administrator to manage and maintain our client's network and infrastructure systems. This role ensures secure, reliable connectivity and supports critical business operations. If you thrive in a hands-on environment and have a passion for technology, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software systems.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls and access controls.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Perform system backups and disaster recovery planning.
• Support infrastructure projects, upgrades, and cloud integrations.
• Document network configurations and procedures.
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role (Network Administrator or related IT position).
• Education: College degree preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and hardware (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  
  

Infrastructure & Cloud Technology Requirements

• Operating Systems: Windows Server, Linux-based systems.
• Directory Services: Active Directory, Group Policy.
• Virtualization: VMware, Hyper-V.
• Storage & Backup: SAN/NAS solutions, Veeam or similar backup tools.
• Cloud Platforms: Microsoft Azure, AWS (networking, VPNs, hybrid cloud setups).
• Security: Firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto), VPN technologies.
  
  

Additional Requirements

• Must be willing to work on-site during standard business hours.
• Full-time availability required.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Certifications such as CompTIA Network , CCNA, or Microsoft/AWS certifications.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
