We are looking for a skilled Network Administrator to join our team in New York, New York. This long-term contract position is ideal for an experienced, detail-oriented candidate with a strong background in managing and maintaining network infrastructure, hardware, and software. The role requires a proactive individual who can ensure seamless connectivity and system performance while addressing technical challenges efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including hardware, software, and devices.
Configure and troubleshoot Mac computers, Apple devices, and other computer hardware.
Implement and oversee configuration management processes to ensure optimal system operation.
Utilize MDM technologies and tools such as Jamf Pro to streamline device management.
Administer user access and security protocols using Okta and other authentication systems.
Collaborate with teams to set up and maintain audio-visual equipment for meetings and presentations.
Provide technical support and resolve issues related to Rippling software and other enterprise applications.
Monitor network performance and ensure timely upgrades to maintain system efficiency.
Develop and document procedures for network administration and device management.
Stay updated on emerging technologies to recommend improvements and solutions.
Requirements
At least 3 years of experience in network administration or a related field.
Proficiency in managing Mac computers and Apple devices.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware setup and troubleshooting.
Experience with configuration management tools and practices.
Familiarity with MDM systems such as Jamf Pro and Rippling software.
Understanding of authentication platforms like Okta.
Ability to manage audio-visual equipment effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on network performance and security.
