We are looking for an experienced Network Administrator to join our team in Naples, Florida. This role focuses on maintaining and enhancing network security, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and improving overall system performance. Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Network Engineer and IT Director to establish and maintain security protocols, risk assessments, and documentation procedures.
Monitor and analyze data logs and security alerts, including data loss protection and data movement, escalating issues as needed.
Communicate critical security updates and activities to relevant personnel through clear and timely messaging.
Research emerging security technologies to identify opportunities for enhancing system performance and protection.
Participate in technical audits to verify compliance with established security policies and industry standards.
Investigate and perform root-cause analysis on security-related incidents, implementing preventive measures to mitigate future risks.
Update controls and procedures based on incident findings to strengthen the organization's security posture.
Requirements
Proficiency in firewall technologies and Checkpoint Firewall systems.
Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and networking.
Strong knowledge of Active Directory administration.
Familiarity with LAN (Local Area Network) concepts and configurations.
Understanding of Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) for network routing.
Ability to conduct security assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Experience with monitoring and analyzing security logs and alerts.
Excellent communication skills for delivering security updates and collaborating with technical teams.
