Network Administrator - Senior

Job Description

Everforth ECS is seeking a Network Administrator - Senior to work in Fairfax, Virginia. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise telecommunications and network infrastructure to ensure DoDIN connectivity and secure transport services.
• Manage routing and switching configurations, ensuring alignment with approved baselines.
• Implement firmware and security updates in accordance with STIG and cybersecurity guidelines.
• Monitor device health and performance metrics, ensuring optimal network operation.
• Coordinate response activities for network outages and facilitate timely restoration.
• Ensure compliance with DoDIN operational directives and configuration management controls.
• Analyze network traffic to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance network security and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Clearance: Secret Eligible required
• S. Citizenship required
• DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 441-Network Operations Specialist at the Advanced proficiency level
• Certifications (one or more required): SecurityX / CASP , CCNA, CCNP Security, CCSP, GCED, GCIA, GCLD, GDSA, GFACT
• Education: Masters or Ph.D in [Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering]
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in administering and sustaining enterprise telecommunications and network infrastructure within DoD or Federal environments.
• Proven experience supporting DoDIN connectivity and secure transport services.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain routing and switching configurations and implement approved baselines.
• Experience in applying firmware and security updates in compliance with STIG guidance.

• Clearance: Active Secret preferred
• Familiarity with ARNG and DoD enterprise network environments.
• Experience in network traffic analysis and performance metric monitoring.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to coordinate outage response activities effectively.
