The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience managing security projects, and prior audit experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct project team personnel, manage cost and schedule, and serve as customer interface
- Track CIP evidence responses and ensure audit readiness
- Manage technical scope, cost, and schedule of assigned tasks
- Lead project teams including executives, SMEs, controllers, and schedulers
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to define scope, objectives, and deliverables
- Create project management plans, execute governance reviews, and ensure compliance with PMO standards
- Manage project budget, track actuals vs. plan, and provide monthly forecasts
- Deliver high-quality written and verbal communications including status reports and dashboards
- Monitor project tasks, timelines, milestones, and quality of deliverables
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8 years of experience as an IT Project Manager
- 3 years managing security projects
- Previous experience with NERC CIP projects and audits
- Strong communication skills with senior/executive management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Smartsheet, or similar tools
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and decision-making skills
- PMP or equivalent certification
