Experience Required
- 12 years of IT experience
- Strong background in data architecture and data modeling
- Design and develop comprehensive enterprise data models including conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Create and maintain data architecture blueprints and documentation
- Develop data modeling standards, best practices, and governance frameworks
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and development teams to understand data requirements
- Perform data analysis and profiling to support modeling decisions
- Design database schemas and ensure optimal database performance
- Create and maintain metadata repositories and data dictionaries
- Lead data modeling reviews and ensure adherence to established standards
- Support data integration, migration, and consolidation initiatives
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
Must Have:
- 12 years of experience in IT with significant focus on data architecture and modeling
- Extensive hands-on experience with ERWIN Data Modeler (or ERwin)
- Strong expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling
- Deep understanding of database design principles and normalization techniques
- Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Proficiency in SQL and database query optimization
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Knowledge of No SQL databases and big data technologies
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and tools
- Experience with ETL / ELT processes and tools
- Understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) principles
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Data Quality and Data Lineage experience
- Business intelligence and reporting tools knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Master's degree preferred
