Key Responsibilities:
Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE):
- Develop, maintain, and analyze system models using industry-standard MBSE tools like Cameo.
- Drive system development through models, ensuring consistency and traceability of system artifacts.
- Apply SysML (Systems Modeling Language) to visualize, analyze, and document system behaviors, requirements, architectures, and verification.
- Capture, analyze, and validate stakeholder requirements to ensure feasibility, consistency, and traceability.
- Perform gap analysis and maintain requirements traceability across all development phases.
- Support the development of requirements documents, including System Requirements Documents (SRDs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and Verification Matrices.
- Design, develop, and document system architectures, ensuring alignment with customer needs and technical constraints.
- Perform trade studies and analyze design choices to identify optimal solutions that balance performance, cost, and risk.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and network engineering teams to establish scalable, end-to-end systems.
- Engage with customers, stakeholders, and development teams to define system expectations, constraints, and objectives.
- Present system designs, requirement analyses, and trade studies to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support formal design reviews, including SRRs, PDRs, and CDRs.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (Advanced degrees preferred).
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in years of hands-on experience in MBSE, systems design, or systems architecture.
- Strong experience with SysML for modeling system behavior, structure, and interconnections.
- Solid understanding of requirements management tools like DOORS, Jama, or similar platforms.
- Proven track record in requirements decomposition, traceability, gap analysis, and validation processes.
- Familiarity with systems engineering standards such as INCOSE SE Handbook, ISO 15288, or similar.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with Agile frameworks and modern toolchains (Git, Jira, Confluence).
- Knowledge of digital engineering principles, version control for models, and model governance.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps principles.
