This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality mobile applications, especially in streaming media environments, while implementing robust test strategies and automation frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and test strategies for native mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms.
- Perform manual and automated testing for mobile applications to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Appium, Selenium, and Java.
- Test video streaming applications, validating protocols such as HLS and DASH and analyzing playback performance including buffering, latency, and video quality.
- Conduct performance testing and security testing for mobile applications to identify potential vulnerabilities and performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to define and implement quality standards and best practices.
- Identify, document, and track defects using Jira, ensuring detailed bug reports and effective resolution tracking.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster release cycles.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Document testing processes, results, and findings for continuous improvement.

- Experience working with cross-functional teams in Agile environments
