Mid-Level Full Stack Engineer with VDI/Azure Cloud Exp. (San Jose, CA)

We are looking to hire two candidates with the skills sets mentioned and experience for one of our clients within the cloud software technology industry. This is an Onsite role in San Jose, CA.

Position Summary:

Our client is seeking two experienced Full-Stack Engineers to support a high-impact initiative focused on building and enhancing a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) platform. This role will involve developing scalable cloud-based solutions, including API development and user interface components, to support virtual desktop environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Successfully delivering scalable, user-friendly virtual desktop solutions.
• Seamless integration between cloud infrastructure, APIs, and UI.
• Supporting a reliable and high-performing VDI platform for enterprise users.
• Design and develop scalable full-stack applications supporting virtual desktop solutions.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs for backend services.
• Develop intuitive and responsive UI components for end users.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams to support VDI environments.
• Integrate cloud-based services, with a strong preference for Azure-based architecture.
• Contribute to system design, performance optimization, and scalability of virtual platforms.
  
  

Required Experience/Skills/Education:

• Strong experience as a Full-Stack Developer (5 years preferred).
• Proficiency in backend development using Python (or similar languages).
• Experience building and consuming APIs (REST, microservices architecture).
• Front-end development experience (React, Angular, or similar frameworks).
• Experience working in cloud environments (Azure strongly preferred).
• Experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments.
• Familiarity with tools/platforms related to virtual desktops (e.g., Horizon, Citrix, or similar).
• Experience with automation or scripting (Python-based frameworks, possibly what was referred to as "Galaxy ).
• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of system integration and distributed architecture.
  
  

Other Job Specifications:

• Employment Type: W2 only. NO C2C.
• Contracting Period: 12 months contracting opportunity with the potential for extension.
• Job Location: Onsite San Jose, CA.
• Contract Rate: $58/hr. on W2 and $65/hr. on C2C.
• Interview Process: 1-2 rounds of video interviews.
