Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field inspections and prepare detailed inspection reports.
- Support the Director of Field Services in construction administration activities.
- Ensure projects comply with design drawings, specifications, and company standards.
- Coordinate with principals, team leads, architects, contractors, and clients.
- Maintain and manage project inspection schedules.
- Review shop drawings, specifications, addenda, and construction documentation.
- Participate in professional development and training programs.
- Provide timely communication and project updates to stakeholders.
- Experience in Engineering, Construction, Field Services, or related environments.
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong team collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with:
- AutoCAD
- Revit
- Bluebeam
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of building codes.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Science, or related field.
- Experience in MEP construction, consulting, or construction administration.
- Experience supporting educational facility projects.
- Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Knowledge of:
- Electrical Systems (power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security, access control, data networks)
- Mechanical Systems (HVAC, temperature controls)
- Plumbing Systems (domestic water, sanitary waste, storm water, sprinkler, gas distribution, compressed air systems)
