Ability to work remotely
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $70,100 - $123,625. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. - Independently develop mechanical design solutions of varying complexity using solid models, detailed drawings, and release of engineering work products.
- Review requirements from various sources (stress, dynamics, systems, thermal, manufacturing, etc.) to ensure that applicable requirements are flowed into the detailed design of assigned products.
- Collaborate with peers, configuration management, and manufacturing to ensure program requirements and schedules are met.
- Contribute to the completion of Program achievements by the release of accurate, error-free, affordable and producible engineering designs.
Basic Qualifications
- Mechanical design experience that includes the interpretation of engineering design drawings.
- Experience with engineering CAD tools (Creo, Solidworks, etc.) and model based product definition.
- Knowledge of industrial standards and federal regulations including ANSI, OSHA, and AWS (including AWS weld symbiology)
- Understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals including structures, mechanisms, materials and analysis.
- Knowledge/understanding of Electro-mechanical Systems and mechanical packaging of electronic equipment.
- Experience in Electro-mechanical Systems and mechanical packaging of electronic equipment
- Working knowledge of industry standards and federal regulations including ANSI, OSHA, and AWS standards applicable to mechanical systems.
- Experience with Engineering Data Product release process within the Engineering Product Data Management (EPDM) system.
- Knowledge of LM Space command media.
- Good oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Active DoD Secret security clearance.
