What You'll Do:
- Create and modify detailed 3D models and assemblies in SolidWorks for complex mechanical systems
- Develop and maintain engineering drawings, assemblies, and configurations aligned with established design standards
- Manage CAD data within PLM/PDM systems, ensuring version control, accuracy, and data integrity
- Collaborate closely with mechanical, manufacturing, and systems engineers to support ongoing design iterations
- Support design updates, revisions, and documentation throughout the full product lifecycle
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks, including advanced 3D modeling and assemblies
- Experience working on complex mechanical assemblies with multi-part designs and tight tolerances
- Hands-on experience with PLM/PDM systems (e.g., Windchill, OnePDM, or similar tools)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work within structured design and release processes
- Comfortable working in a highly technical, R&D-focused environment
- Experience supporting advanced R&D, hardware, or lab-based environments
- Familiarity with configuration management and engineering release processes
- Background working in cross-functional engineering teams
