Salary: $70,000 - $95,000 per year

We are a multidisciplinary design and engineering firm with global offices servicing a wide variety of customers in healthcare, aerospace, education, government, and hospitality. Due to continued internal growth and the need to keep up with customer demands, we have an immediate need for a Mechanical Engineer. Ideal candidates will be proficient with Revit. This is a fulltime, direct hire role out of our Albany, NY location. After a probationary time, this will be a hybrid schedule (2 days WFH).

Job Details

Is your background a match?

• Minimum of an Associates Degree
• 4 years of mechanical engineering experience for a construction, architecture, or engineering company
• PE certification is highly desirable, but not required
• Proficient in the use of Revit and other engineering design tools
• Strong knowledge in the design of heating, cooling, heat rejection, air distribution, ventilation, AC, building automation and controls
• Understanding of mechanical design, physics, microfabrication, CAD and data analysis
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner
• Committed to continuous learning and professional development.
  
  

What will you be doing?

• Coordinate and prepare schematic design, design development, and construction documents
• Assist in spatial coordination with architecture and other engineering systems
• Process contractor submittals and perform on site condition surveys
• Work collaboratively in a cross-discipline environment to produce integrated project documents, and insure integrated design approaches & solutions
