We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals committed to designing and manufacturing cutting-edge products. Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new products and systems from concept to final implementation, ensuring they meet customer requirements and company standards.
- Create and modify detailed drawings using CAD software, including 3D modeling.
- Conduct comprehensive product testing to identify potential issues and ensure the highest level of quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with the production team to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.
- Analyze and interpret specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and descriptions to determine design factors such as size, shape, and arrangement of parts.
- Use engineering principles to solve complex manufacturing and design problems.
- Prepare and present design reviews to the team, management, and clients.
- Stay current with the latest design trends, technology, and methodologies in mechanical design engineering.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Mechanical Design Engineer role, preferably in the Manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software and 3D modeling.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, product design, and quality control.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain high-quality standards.
- Professional Engineering (PE) certification is a plus.
