About The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced MDM/RDM Data Architect to design and lead enterprise data solutions within the healthcare payer domain. This role focuses on Master Data Management (MDM), Reference Data Management (RDM), and enterprise data architecture, working closely with business stakeholders and the Enterprise Data Office.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver enterprise data management solutions across MDM, RDM, and data services
- Design and optimize ETL pipelines and data movement using SQL and ETL tools
- Build scalable solutions integrating on-prem systems and Azure Data Lake
- Lead architecture discussions, prototypes, and solution design sessions
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance across the data lifecycle
- Support provider data remediation, reporting, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with enterprise architects and stakeholders on data strategy and roadmap
- Act as SME for complex data issues, architecture decisions, and system integrations
- 12 years of experience in data architecture, MDM/RDM, and data engineering
- Strong expertise in Informatica MDM (Multi-Domain / SaaS), ETL tools, and SQL
- Hands-on experience with Oracle, SQL Server, and data modeling
- Experience with Azure (Data Lake, ADF) and hybrid data architectures
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and integration frameworks
- Mandatory experience in Healthcare Payer domain
- Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills
- TOGAF or relevant architecture certifications
- Experience with Databricks, Lakehouse architecture, and analytics frameworks
- Knowledge of healthcare data standards (claims, providers, eligibility, etc.)
- Exposure to HIPAA and regulatory compliance
- Experience with Medicare/Medicaid programs
- Strong architectural mindset with hands-on execution capability
- Ability to translate business needs into scalable data solutions
- Leadership in driving enterprise data strategy and innovation
- Proven ability to work in complex, cross-functional environments
