This role involves executing routine visual inspection operations for drug product manufacturing in a multi-product, cGMP-regulated facility. The successful candidate will perform duties under limited supervision, follow standard operating procedures, and document work according to cGMP and cGDP standards.
Responsibilities:
- Execute routine unit operations in Visual Inspection as assigned related to the manufacturing of drug product
- Perform duties under limited supervision and according to standard operating and manufacturing procedures
- Execute complex fundamental operations such as visual inspection, palletizing, cleaning, and inspection hood preparation
- Perform internal support duties including assisting drug product filling and packaging
- Manage logistics coordination, batch record executions, and equipment use logs
- Document work according to cGMP and cGDP, adhering to all established regulations
- Report abnormalities and deviations in a timely and accurate manner
- Adhere to safety standards and maintain production areas according to predefined standards (5s)
- Maintain training compliance and train other technicians and associates
- Contribute to quality activities such as supporting investigations and corrective actions
- 1st Shift: Mon-Fri, 6:00AM-2:30PM
- High school degree or equivalent
- 1 or more years of experience in a cGMP regulated industry
- Ability to concentrate on detail-oriented work in a complex technical setup
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with computer-based systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES)
- Ability to read and understand SOPs and instructions and document work in a written format applying cGMP standards
- Ability to work as part of a high performing team and collaborate effectively with staff
- Must be able to read and see clearly, with acceptable results from vision testing including color blindness
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Associate's/Bachelor's degree or biotechnology vocational training preferred
