As a Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our company's success. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes, and operations for new and existing products.
- Ensuring the effective use of materials, equipment, and personnel in producing quality products at minimal costs.
- Acting as a liaison between engineering and production to ensure that manufacturing processes are in line with the company's business objectives.
- Leading and managing a team of manufacturing engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure personal growth and development.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and leading efforts to implement changes, driving efficiency and cost savings.
- Developing and implementing strategies for the manufacturing department in line with company objectives.
- Communicating with all levels of the organization to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Managing budget and production metrics and implementing cost control programs.
We are looking for a candidate who is a natural leader, with a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills. The following qualifications are required for this role:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in managing and developing a team.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing principles, and quality systems.
- Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of leading projects to successful completion.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovative solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in using engineering software and other relevant computer applications.
- A continuous improvement mindset, with a track record of identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
