Manager / Director Operations, Compliance & Audit
Location: United States (Remote/Hybrid/Onsite)
We re seeking a US-based staffing industry professional with strong experience in operations, compliance, and audits to support U.S. and Canada staffing operations. This is a high-impact role working closely with leadership to ensure audit readiness, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
What You Ll Do
Lead staffing operations (onboarding, payroll coordination, invoicing, contractor lifecycle)
Own U.S. staffing compliance (multi-state labor laws, W-2, payroll, worker classification)
Oversee Canada compliance (CRA, WSIB/WCB, provincial employment standards, HST/GST)
Manage client & third-party audits end-to-end
Partner with Payroll, Finance, Legal, CPAs, and MSPs
Improve SOPs, internal controls, and audit-ready processes
What We Re Looking For
8 15 years of experience in staffing operations & compliance
Must be located in the United States
Strong hands-on U.S. staffing compliance background
Working knowledge of Canadian staffing regulations
Proven experience managing client audits
MSP / VMS experience (Fieldglass, Beeline) is a plus
