This is a hybrid role. Onsite Tues, Wed, Thurs in Columbia, SC.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• 6 Years IT work experience including systems programming experience.
• JCL
• z/OS
• MQ mainframe
• Experience creating/maintaining a queue manager and queues
  
  

NICE TO HAVE:

• CICS
• Cobol
• Unix & zlinux
  
  

DAY TO DAY:

• Resolving test and production issues that arise
• Working on customer requests such as creating a new queues, queue manager & changing queue depth.
• Working on a multitude of projects ranging from installing the latest release of MQ to configuring MQ on servers
• Working with error reports and handling multiple tasks
• Internal monitoring such as checking queue depth.
  
  

This is a long term contract opportunity with the potential to convert to full time.

It is a 40 hour work week.

Standard Hours are 8-4:30pm Monday - Friday.

Overtime, on call, weekends, and off hours as needed once fully trained.
