- We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer to support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of enterprise applications running on IBM Mainframe platforms.
- The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, and VSAM, along with a solid understanding of batch and online transaction processing systems.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and optimize DB2 queries, stored procedures, and database processes.
- Support batch job processing, scheduling, and troubleshooting.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and production deployments.
- Investigate and resolve production issues while ensuring system stability.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and other developers throughout the SDLC.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- 5 years of Mainframe Development experience.
- Strong proficiency in COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL.
- Experience with VSAM files and batch processing.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Experience working in Agile or Waterfall environments.
