Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain all machinery and production equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues
- Perform both temporary and permanent repairs to minimize downtime
- Rebuild machines and overhaul troublesome components or attachments
- Fit and align bearings, spindles, shafts, and adjust mechanisms and gibs
- Assist with new equipment installations, relocations, and alignments
- Knowledge of mechanics, machine design, and electrical/hydraulic systems
- Ability to read machine drawings and use precision instruments
- Welding skills (arc, gas, MIG)
- Able to work independently and communicate effectively
- Must pass Respirator Fit Test and CPR/First Aid training
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent standing, climbing, and crouching
- Comfortable working around noise, vibration, and occasional temperature extremes or confined spaces
