Location:: Hartford, CT 06134 (Project work performed in Rocky Hill, CT)

Role Overview

Seeking a highly experienced onsite LIMS Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a Clinical Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) implementation.

This role will act as a technical project liaison, ensuring alignment between laboratory operations, IT teams, and project leadership throughout implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate clear and consistent communication across all project stakeholders
• Translate and communicate laboratory, technical, and operational requirements
• Coordinate onsite User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and workflow deployment
• Identify, document, and escalate risks, issues, and operational impacts
• Support lab personnel during transition from Horizon to LabWare LIMS
• Troubleshoot LIMS workflows and system issues
• Assist with change management efforts, including process and system updates
• Review project status reports and participate in status meetings
• Maintain full-time onsite presence to support implementation activities
  
  

Required Expertise

• Deep, hands-on experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
• Strong familiarity with LabWare LIMS implementation
• Experience working in clinical or public health laboratory environments
• Proven ability to bridge communication between technical teams and lab operations
• Strong troubleshooting and workflow optimization skills
• Experience supporting UAT and system deployment
  
  

Additional Requirements

• Candidate must be local to Connecticut or willing to relocate/commute onsite
• This is a senior-level role requiring both technical depth and stakeholder coordination experience
