LIMS Data Migration Engineer

Primary Talent Partners has a 9 month contract opening for a LIMS Systems Engineer to join a multinational medical device / pharmaceutical company for a remote role operating on CST hours.

Pay: $63.00/hr - $73.00/hr

Contract: 9 months, extensions likely, conversion possible

Type: W-2, cannot support C2C or provide visa sponsorship

Remote: 100% Remote

Primary Tasks And Responsibilities

Environmental setup & System Cloning

• Set up the environment/DB required to perform the cleansing in Baxter DMZ and validate the same with complete readiness
• Set up data filtration scripts to filter Baxter and Vantive data excluding SIMTRA data and continuous replication
• Remove security groups, permissions, or security keys from the cloned system (in the DMZ infrastructure environment)
  
  

Data Cleansing

• Analyze database structure and create data cleansing scripts for all database tables to clean SIMTRA data (Both Bloomington and Halle Data)
• Remove all SIMTRA data associated with SIMTRA Manufacturing sites, SIMTRA Product Codes, documents (files/attachments) including SIMTRA PII data from the cloned system
  
  

Testing and Validation

• Draft data verification scripts to ensure no SIMTRA data is being shared with Vantive
• Perform regression testing to ensure system accuracy
  
  

Documentation

• Prepare documentation that Vantive will need to clone the application on their end to enable system access
• Provide specific instructions for Vantive to complete the integrations and complete system set up
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5 years of experience with LIMS, SQL, and Oracle
• LIMS development and configuration skills
• Solid understanding of Build/ Deployment Process
• Strong experience of Labvantage LIMS version 8 and above
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal and organization skills required
• Ability to work independently, under minimal direct supervision
• Advanced technical knowledge of Java modules and frameworks including web services, hibernate, and JMS
• Experience with Jasper Reports is a plus
• Should have good command on SQL Queries (able to write complex queries) either in Oracle or MS SQL.
• Experience of Java EE server (Oracle WebLogic Server, Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform, or IBM WebSphere Application Server)
