Title: Lead XStore Engineer/Sr XStore developer
Openings: 1 per role (2 total)
Location: 100% remote- must be in US
Type: Contract to hire- looking to convert to full time with the clinet at 6 months
Pay: starts at $47 /hr on w2 (must be able to convert to fte without sponsorship)
Length: 6 months
Screenings: full panel drug and background (criminal, employment, education) once hired
optional benefits, intention to convert to full time after 6 months

Key Responsibilities
- Lead upgrades and patching efforts for the XStore POS platform
- Develop new features and support system expansions
- Build and maintain automated testing frameworks
- Improve system observability and monitoring (current tooling experience is transferable)
- Partner closely with engineering and operations teams across the organization
- Experience supporting XStore in aglobal retail environment, including regional policies or compliance needs
- Pennsylvania?based candidates are a plus (hardware lab access), though the role is expected to befully remotewith a home lab provided

Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and supportpayment and EFT integrationswithin XStore
- Work with payment gateways and processors to ensure secure, reliable transactions
- Support upgrades, enhancements, and troubleshooting related to payments workflows
- Collaborate with broader POS and platform engineering teams
- XStore POS or MICROS POS experience
- Payments or EFT integrations such as:
- EFTLink
- FreedomPay
- Adyen(or similar platforms)
