Summary:
The Lead Technical Campaign Manager (CRM) oversees complex, dynamic email campaigns from build to launch. They own the end-to-end execution pipeline-partnering with creative, strategy, and technical teams to deliver high-quality campaigns at scale. This person is the operational expert across modular email design and marketing automation platforms, ensuring flawless builds, quality assurance, and delivery.

This person is the operational expert across modular email design and marketing automation platforms, ensuring flawless builds, quality assurance, and delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end campaign workflow from Knak email asset builds to marketing automation platform activation
- Understand campaign business requirements for content personalization; Design and configure dynamic content and segmentation rules
- Ensure creative variants sync with the business rules to ensure the right content delivers every time
- Troubleshoot deployment issues across Knak, ESPs, and inbox rendering
- Diagnose Knak-to-ESP sync failures and asset issues; resolve dynamic content and personalization errors; and communicate root cause, impact, and remediation
- Maintain documentation, workflows, and email development best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, or similar field
- 5-8 years of experience in email campaign development and operations or lifecycle marketing
- Ad-agency experience desired; in-house agency experience preferred
- Proven experience managing complex, data-driven email programs
- Expertise in marketing automation platforms like Oracle Responsys and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO)
- Proficient in developing creative to match campaign orchestration, segmentation, and dynamic content requirements
- Hands-on experience with Knak or other modular content management systems
- Familiar with analytics, including UTM governance and performance reporting
- Understands email development nuances for inbox rendering differences (Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail)
- Strong scripting and markup language skills with attention to detail
- Organized, self-starter who is solutions-oriented and demonstrates agility with shifting priorities, deadlines, and directions
- Strong presenter and communicator able to express opinions clearly and persuasively
