Qualifications Of a Lead
- Experience with and a desire to coach and mentor colleagues.
- Strong written and communication skills.
- Team player and known leader.
- Create automation frameworks to drive quality and improve speed of deployment.
- Assesses and understands the flow of code and its interaction with various processes.
- Documents processes and client demands for process improvement.
- Logs, manages, and tracks user issues and cases.
- Troubleshot bugs and other issues on mobile, desktop, and web-based platforms.
- Test automation builds, execution, and script troubleshooting.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years' experience in an applicable software development environment, with a focus on mobile applications.
- Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented principles, algorithms, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
- Proficiency in Java Script/Typescript.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting/problem-solving skills.
- Uses software development best practices for design and coding. Continuously improve the code quality, maintainability, and readability.
- Participate and provide feedback during planning meetings (i.e., pre-iteration, iteration, and retrospectives).
- Strong knowledge of TDD, BDD, and Testing patterns.
- Demonstrated ability to own, design, lead, and implement test strategies for complex applications and deployment topologies, especially for mobile platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and create/explain/defend technical designs.
- Strong experience with Continuous Integration.
