The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership experience and strong experience in PHP/Laravel, with the ability to guide engineering efforts while driving high-quality, scalable solutions.
Our client is currently rebuilding its backend systems to enhance scalability, reliability, and automation across financial and operational workflows. The Lead Engineer for Finance & Integrations will play a critical role in this transformation owning architecture decisions, improving integrations, and ensuring robust performance across core business platforms.

Job Details
6 years of backend engineering experience, including technical ownership or team leadership
Expertise working with PHP and Laravel for backend development
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and large-scale integrations
Experience building or maintaining financial, transactional, or data-driven systems
Experience modernizing legacy codebases and performing data migrations
Experience with third-party API integrations and data exchange.
Strong focus on scalability, maintainability, and performance optimization.
